The Prophet

The 20th Century Prophet: 

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the entire focus of our lives. we believe the Lord Jesus revealed to us that He had sent a prophet in this end time in order to fulfill many Scriptures in the Bible, including Malachi 4:5-6, Luke 17:30, Revelation 10:7, and Matthew 17:11. The prophet’s name is William Marrion Branham

William Marrion Branham was one of the most influential Bible ministers of our time. He was considered by many to be the initiator of the healing and charismatic revival that began in 1947, and from his ministry there sprang a myriad of other ministers who became internationally known

One historian of that movement stated that William Branham was “a prophet to our generation”, and a Pentecostal historian wrote, “Branham filled the largest stadiums and meeting halls in the world.” The Full Gospel Men’s Voice, (now, Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International), in its February 1961 issue, wrote:

“In Bible Days, there were men of God who were Prophets and Seers. But in all the Sacred Records, none of these had a greater ministry than that of William Branham, a Prophet and Seer of God, whose photograph appears on the front cover of this issue of Full Gospel Men’s Voice. Branham has been used by God, in the Name of Jesus, to raise the dead!”

From 1947 until the time of his passing in 1965, the powerful ministry of William Branham was well known and considered unparalleled in the history of gospel meetings. The impact of the supernatural ministry of this one man was felt not only in North America, but also around the world.

On June 11, 1933, William Branham was baptizing in the Ohio River near Jeffersonville, Indiana, when a bright fiery light suddenly appeared over his head and a voice spoke out, “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Jesus Christ, so are you sent to forerun His second coming!” The next edition of the Jeffersonville Evening News reported the incident with the subheading, “Mysterious Star Appears Over Minister While Baptizing”.

As news spread of miraculous healings, pastors from all around began to call William Branham to minister for their congregations and pray for the sick. As the Churches were unable to accommodate the masses of people, the meetings moved to large auditoriums or stadiums for united campaigns in throughout North America and other major cities of the World

The supernatural was evident throughout the entire thirty three year ministry of William Branham as he was used of God in a Prophetic ministry. As the people stood before him in “healing lines” he was able to accurately tell them details of their diseases and the very secrets of their hearts. It soon became abundantly clear to the serious Bible reader, that William Branham was ordained a Prophet to fulfill the many scriptural prophecies concerning the end time.

Here are just a few scriptures that clearly declare a Prophet ministry to forerun the Coming of Jesus Christ.

Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

In Matthew 17: 10-12 the disciples ask Jesus a question; “Why then say the scribes that Elias (Elijah) must first come?” Jesus answered their question in two parts, firstly: “But I say unto you, That Elias is come already and they knew him not …” speaking of John the Baptist. Secondly: “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.” Speaking of a future forerunner to precede His second coming.

Revelationn10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Amos 3:7. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

The Message which God sent through the ministry of William Branham covered every major Christian Doctrine. The sincere Bible Believer will experience depths of Truth and have many questions answered as they listen to or read the messages which he brought to the church.

The High Calling

“If God has called you to be really like Jesus Christ in all your spirit, He will draw you into a life of crucifixion and humility: and put on you such demands of obedience, that He will not allow you to follow other Christians, and in many ways He will seem to let other good people do things which He will not let you do

Other Christians and ministers who seem very religious and useful may push themselves, pull wires, and work schemes to carry out their plans, but you cannot do it: and if you attempt it, you will meet with such failure and rebuke from the Lord as to make you sorely penitent, Others can brag on themselves, on their work, on their success, on their writings, but the Holy Spirit will not allow you to do any such thing, and if you begin it He will lead you into some deep mortification that will make you despise yourself and all your good works.

Others will be allowed to succeed in making great sums of money, or having a legacy left to them or in having luxuries, but God may supply you daily, because He wants you to have something far better than gold, and that is a helpless dependence on Him, that He may have the privilege of providing your needs day by day out of the unseen treasury.

The Lord may let others be honoured and put forward, and keep you hid away in obscurity, because He wants to produce some choice, fragrant fruit for His coming glory, which can only be produced in the shade. God will let others be great, but keep you small, He will make you work and toil on without knowing how much you are doing: and then to make your work still more precious, He will let others get the credit for the work which you have done, and this will make your reward ten times greater when Jesus comes.

The Holy Spirit will put a strict watch on you, with a jealous love, and ‘will rebuke you for little words and feelings or for wasting your time, which other Christians never seem distressed over. So make up your mind that God is an infinite Sovereign, and has a right to do as He pleases with His own and He will not explain to you a thousand things which may puzzle your reason in His dealing with you. God will take you at your word, and if you absolutely sell yourself to be His slave He will wrap you up in a jealous love, and let other people say and do many things that you cannot do or say.

Settle it forever that you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit, and that He is to have the privilege of tying your tongue or chaining your hand, or closing your eyes, in ways that others are not dealt with. Now when you are so possessed with the Living God that you are, in your sacred heart, pleased and delighted over this peculiar personal, private jealous guardianship and management of the Holy Spirit over your life, you will have found the vestibule of Heaven.”
